The Minnesota Wild is ready for another season of hockey. In honor of the new season, the Wild opened their doors to media to show off their 22,000 square foot locker room at TRIA Rink. TRIA Rink is their practice facility. The space is more than just a locker room. The massive space also includes a decked out kitchen area, a weight room that is full of everything from a 40-yard turf running track to equipment, a theater room, whirlpool room and more. Gavin Kaysen of Spoon and Stable is also once again teaming up to feed the Wild players. He’s part of the culinary team that will prepare nutritious and delicious meals to the team. On Saturday, September 15th fans will be able to “Flood the Rink” again. This is the second year for the event. Fans can bring vials of water from their own ponds, lakes and rivers around Minnesota. The water will then be added to the ice for the new season. The event is from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will also include single game ticket sales, a Wild Breakaway Run and an open practice.
