July is a huge, huge month for summer sales. And if your email inbox isn’t full of promo codes and discounts yet, our Super Saver says buckle up. TCL Reporter Kelli Hanson all the details on big sales you’ll want to mark on the calendar.
Amazon Prime Day
This is Amazon’s summertime version of Black Friday. The official date hasn’t been released yet, but many sources are pointing to July 16th and July 17th. This year the sale is 36-hours. Kelli says expect rival retailers to have deals on that day too!
New deals for Amazon Prime Members! As you may remember, Amazon bought Whole Foods last summer. But what does that mean for shoppers? Starting June 27th, Amazon Prime members will get 10% off certain sale items and other discounts at Whole Food Stores.
There are two ways to activate the deal:
1. You can get the Whole Foods app, sign in with your Amazon account, then scan the app’s prime code when you check out at a physical store.
2. Or you can enter your cell number in during checkout to verify your prime membership.
Inside Whole Foods stores, there will be yellow stickers indicating 10% off and blue stickers indicating other deals for Prime members.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
This is their biggest sale of the year. It begins July 20th and will end on August 5th. Cardholders, access the sale early from July 12-19th. Catalogs are out to give you a sneak peek. This sale includes several styles of shoes, clothes, jewelry, even makeup!
