- Place in a south face window. Or better yet, use grow lights
- Clean and sterilize containers to prevent disease problems
- Wide, shallow containers are best
- Only use a seed-starting growing medium
- Most seeds germinate best at temps between 65 and 75 degrees
- Covering planted seeds with plastic wrap or a grow dome will help
- Once plants are germinated, provide good air circulation to prevent disease problems
- If growing in front of a window, turn plants every day
