He’s the play-by-play guy for the Minnesota Vikings. He announces races at Canterbury Park and he’s a host of KFAN’s 92Noon show. Paul Allen is a sports fanatic, but what does he like to do when he’s not calling a football game or a horse race? Paul sits down with Twin Cities Live Reporter Emily Engberg to chat over a Caribou Coffee in this week’s “Coffee with Cool People”. It was an easy fit because Paul loves a good Caribou Coffee. In fact, he’s known to frequent the Caribou in Eden Prairie on the way to work.
Paul talks about the “Minneapolis Miracle”. He says it was unbelievable and to this day, thinking about the fan reaction is pretty amazing.
Twin Cities Live is all about food, fashion and fun. Paul says his go to food spot is Mancini‘s in Saint Paul or Revival in Minneapolis. As for fashion, he’s low key. He’s usually in a Vikings shirt and he loves his sandals in the summer. Despite loving sports, he’s not a hunter or golfer. He spends his free time hanging with his two teenagers, he loves his hot tub and he’s all about plants. He calls taking care of plants relaxing. That’s what he considers fun.
Caribou just released their new Vikings Coffee Blend. Ten percent of proceeds from the Vikings Blend sold in Caribou Coffee locations will go to the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital.
