Skillshare.com offers thousands of online classes for creative and curious people. You can sign up for two months of Skillshare Premium for free. Classes include graphic design, music, plant care, and more.
Classcentral.com allows you to take a class from an Ivy League School for free. There are over 500 classes to choose from. Some classes are self-paced and others have a specific start date. You can get a paid certificate for taking the class. Includes Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, and Yale.
Duolingo.com is available as a phone app and online to help you pick up a new language. Over 30 languages to choose from and is great for kids or adults.
Watch a Ted Talk for free. Many of the videos are less than 20 minutes. There is a whole section on their website that are talks geared towards kids and families.
Investigate your family’s history thanks to The Minnesota Historical Society. You can search birth, death, marriage, census, immigration and military records. There are also newspapers and historical photos on their website.
