Ben Spangler from Bebe Zito Ice Cream stopped by to share a recipe for a pumpkin and sweet potato ice cream sundae.
Pumpkin and Sweet Potato Sundae
Ingredients:
1 gallon pumpkin/ sweet potato ice cream
4oz marshmallows
8oz Caramel sauce
2oz pecans
4 oz crumble or streusel (Nilla Wafers work too!)
Directions:
-Spread pumpkin ice cream in a casserole pan or over safe pan that has been refrigerated and cover completely
-Layer ½ crumble onto the ice cream and then marshmallows
-Layer other half of crumble
-then lightly torch the marshmallows until toasty or Steve burns the place down
-layer with caramel sauce
