Grilled Broccolini

Karyn Tomlinson is the head chef at Corner Table in Minneapolis and is one of three nominees for a 2019 Charlie Award for Outstanding Chef. She stopped by the Twin Cities Live studio to share a recipe for grilled broccolini and her passion for pork. Grilled broccolini Ingredients: 4 ea bunches broccolini Salt Pepper Olive oil 1/2 lemon 2 ea garlic clove Grill or sear broccolini on high heat until it just starts to get tender. Place in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and freshly sliced garlic. Cover with plastic. Sabayon Ingredients: 1/2 c white wine 6 ea yolks 5 oz butter 1/2 ea lemon, juice 1/2 tsp salt (to taste) 1 ea garlic clove, sliced Whisk white wine, garlic and egg yolks constantly in a bowl over simmering water until it is consistently thick and foamy. Remove from heat and whisk in room temperature butter and then lemon juice. Season to taste.
