- Follow the two hour rule. Food that has been cooked can sit out of the fridge for two hours; one hour is it’s outside and the temperature is over 90 degrees
- Keep raw and cooked proteins safe. Cross-contaimination is one of the easiest ways to get food poisoning.
- Keep an eye on cooking temperatures. Pack an instant read thermometer. Ground beef should be cooked to 160 degrees.
- Keep it clean. Pack disposible hand and surface wipes.
