Last-minute Mother’s Day Restaurants

No plans for Mother’s Day brunch? No problem. TCL’s Mike Marcotte shared some of his favorite last-minute restaurants for the special occasion.

The Copper Hen

-Farmhouse brunch: scrambled eggs, root vegetable hash, bread pudding, french toast and bacon

-Duck hash: Local smoked duck, peppers, root vegetable hash, local cheddar, fried egg, bearnaise

-Pastries: Bacon blueberry breakfast cupcake with cream cheese frosting, donut muffin

Icehouse

-Grain Bowl: Mixture of organic grains, green goddess dressing, seasonal vegetables and a poached egg

Birchwood Cafe

– Grüne spaetzle: Green spaetzle, lentils, watercress, celery root, sweet peas, scallion, cabbage, mustard, lemon, garlic, herbs, sheep’s milk cheese
