Winter and snow is probably what you think of when you hear Buck Hill, but there’s a lot to do in the summer, too! Buck Hill hosts all sorts of activities. In addition to practicing your ski skills on a special mat that goes over the hill, you can also learn to snowboard. So, when winter comes along, you’ll be ready to ride.
Mountain biking is a huge hit in the summer at Buck Hill. There’s a single track and skills area for those riders looking for a little adventure. Being a season pass holder gives you the benefit of daily access from dawn to dusk. It’s $49 all season long. There are special camps and lessons offered as well.
If you’ve worked up an appetite after a day of riding, get some food. Black Diamond Restaurant is open Thursday-Sunday. It offers Mexican and American cuisine and all sorts of specialty drinks. There’s also a patio to enjoy those nice summer days and evenings.
New this year, Buck Hill is also featuring all sorts of live music. It’s part of its concert series. Things kick off on July 10 when “Loverboy” hits the stage. The stage is outdoors by Black Diamond Restaurant. There will be food trucks, drinks and a whole lot of fun. Get ready to sing along and to have a good time.
